Criminal Investigator is one of the basic police jobs. It's a position that involves investigating any type of crime that occurs in Fayetteville or any other Fayette County. Applicants must be 18 years old. The criminal investigator position is approximately 25-30 hours a week. After the video is complete, the applicants will come in and get their background checked. Once the applicants are cleared to begin the academy, they will learn all about crime scene investigations. The program lasts anywhere between eight weeks to twelve weeks. Applicants will stay in a dorm together and will participate in various educational programs.
